Habitat
It is natively found in India especially in Bengal,Mumbai,Tamilnadu
Morphology
It has a perennial shrub that attains a height of 2 to 3 feet. Leaves are ovate in shape having a length of 1 ½ to 2 feet length. it is almost 6 inch broad. The lowers sides of the leaf bear prominent veins that are 20 to 30 in numbers. Leaf is shiny and smooth on both the sides having white dots on it. It bears a smell like mango fruit. Petiole is 6 inch long from which a yellow colored fruit arises which is 1 ½ inch in length. The rhizomes are rough and are very similar to that of a ginger. The flower arises in autumn season.
